1950 - Saras S.p.A. was founded by Angelo Moratti in Sarroch, Sardinia, Italy.
1952 - The company started producing lubricants and fuels.

1970 - The company started to diversify its activities, investing in the petrochemical sector.
1980 - Saras S.p.A. acquired the Italian company, Erg Petroli.
1990 - The company started to focus on environmental sustainability, investing in renewable energy sources.
2000 - Saras S.p.A. expanded its operations internationally, opening new subsidiaries in Europe and Africa.
2010 - The company invested in new technologies, improving its refining and production processes.
2015 - Saras S.p.A. launched its sustainability plan, aiming to reduce its environmental impact.
