2. Comstock Inc. Accelerates Metals Recycling Momentum

Comstock’s 2025 results marked a dramatic pivot: revenue surged to $1.4 million from $0.4 million a year earlier, while EPS fell to –$0.24 versus an estimate of –$0.18, reflecting the heavy upfront investment in its first recycling plant. Cash and cash equivalents stood at $56 million, and a fresh $57.5 million equity offering will be deployed into the Nevada facility and future growth. With a price‑to‑sales ratio of 72.6×, the stock is trading at a premium to its current earnings, underscoring market optimism about the company’s long‑term recycling potential.

Publication Date: Apr -13

📋 Highlights
  • Asset & Debt Transformation: Doubled asset base, eliminated legacy debt, $56M cash, $57.5M raised via equity offering
  • Metals Recycling Progress: Nevada facility permits secured, $1.4M revenue (vs. $0.4M in 2024), engineered tailings recovery process
  • 2026 Monetization Goals: $50-60M from non-core assets, $24-25M annual revenue projection from recycling (33M panels demand over 4 years)
  • Facility Expansion Plan: $13-16M per facility, 7-facility national model, Q2 2026 commissioning of first facility (3.3M panels/year line)
  • Sierra Springs & Bioleum: $35M Series A for Bioleum, $200M+ potential from Sierra Springs monetization (per data room process in 2026)

Revenue Growth and Margin

Year‑over‑year revenue jumped 250 % to $1.4 million, driven by $2.2 million in additional billings. Gross margins remain modest as the company fronts capital costs, but the operating loss widened to –$0.24 EPS, in line with analysts’ expectations for a capital‑intensive growth phase.

Cash Position and Capital Deployment

With $56 million in cash, Comstock is well‑positioned to finance the $13‑$16 million per facility investment. The equity offering will fund the first industry‑scale metals recycler and secure liquidity for the 2026 monetization of non‑core assets, potentially unlocking $50‑$60 million in proceeds.

Recycling Facility Progress

The Nevada plant is slated for commissioning in Q2, with equipment already on site. A second facility in Clark County is in the permitting phase, expected to follow a similar timeline. Once operational, the plant will process 3.3 million panels annually, scaling to 33 million panels over four years.

Strategic Asset Monetization

Comstock plans to liquidate legacy mining and real estate assets, including the Sierra Springs project in a prime opportunity zone, to generate $50‑$60 million. A $35 million Series A for Bioleum and potential IPOs add further upside, while the company seeks to capture >50 % of critical metal recoveries from tailings.
